Early NMN research was done in mice. Human trials are newer and smaller, but they're growing. Here's one of the larger ones.
This study tested 300, 600 and 900 mg a day; our capsule has 500 mg. One of the authors worked for the company that made the NMN tested, and larger, longer studies are still needed.
Adults who took NMN every day had higher NAD+ levels in their blood and walked farther in a six-minute walk test than the placebo group. The 600 mg dose did best.
